Vegacañada is a company committed to the land of the Vega de Almería and Nijar area. Our raison d’être is the group of growers who, each day, fill our warehouses with the best quality product from the soil and from their own efforts, looking towards the rest of Europe, where they are consumed thanks to teamwork and to the fruits of collective commitment. For that reason, in our company philosophy there is an important section regarding social commitment. At Vegacañada, we put social cooperation with these same growers in capital letters, as a symbol of our desire to repay the trust that these producers place in us.

As such, Vegacañada creates diverse partnerships with the municipalities in whose land our growers work, being present and taking part in the Patronage Festivals of each and every one of them.

Furthermore, we are with the growers and their families, through supporting sport at both adult and youth squad level as well as diverse cultural and social activities in which our people participate.

Our children’s schools are also an incredible vehicle for cooperation and support to those who will become the agricultural entrepreneurs of the future, in their training and in their personal growth. Finally, Vegacañada actively participates in all the promotions made by the Protected Geographical Identification (PGI) La Cañada Nijar tomato, which also gives a great effort to the promotion of the tomato and healthy eating, especially within the school population. And all this for a simple but meaningful reason: Vegacañada is each and every one of its growers and, where there is a grower, there is Vegacañada.
